Kara Clark

Kara Clark is a longtime West Linn resident and a proud graduate of the WLWV School District, having attended K-12 before graduating from West Linn High School in 1999. She earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Art History and Cultural Anthropology from Portland State University.
With a passion for creativity and community, Kara spent 15 years in the floral design industry, managing flower shops and creating designs for weddings and events across the Portland Metro area. As her family grew, she transitioned to part-time work and has been employed at New Seasons Market for the past 12 years.
Deeply committed to advocating for children and education, Kara serves on the Board of Decoding Dyslexia Oregon, working to support literacy and resources for students and families impacted by dyslexia. She regularly attends WLWV School Board meetings, voicing concerns and offering constructive ideas to improve public schools for all. She is dedicated to strengthening community connections and ensuring every child has access to the support they need to succeed.
