POSITION 1 · WLWV SCHOOL BOARD

About Kara

During distance learning in the pandemic, I realized that my daughter had fallen behind her peers—and she wasn’t the only one struggling.

This aha moment sparked my advocacy and involvement to ensure all students receive the tools and supports they need to succeed in school.

Over the last two years I dedicated myself to showing up to all WLWV School Board, PTA/PTSO and special education collaboration meetings to help drive difficult conversations. This experience will help me serve families of West Linn and Wilsonville.

I want to be your representative because I am willing to ask questions and speak up when something doesn’t seem right. I am a community-focused person who prioritizes serving our children.
